Hi everyone, I have been looking on this web site for a long time. My husband has been gone now for almost 2 months now. I am still so sad and lonely don't don't' know what do do with myself. I do not like to do what I use to do before he died. All I want to know if anyone out here feel the same as I do? We have been married for almost 30 years. I just can't seem to get back to where I use to do. Life shopping. I don't want to just about anything that I just have to do. I have been going to support group meetings every Monday. But that is just so very sad! I just don't know how I can go back to the way I use to be. All I do is stay home. So sad! Anyone out there feel the same as I? The weather now is so nice! but just don't want to be out there! Sue

So sorry..
I'm so sorry for your loss. Two months-too soon. My dad has been gone for over thirty years. It still hurts. I miss him so much. Time will ease your pain. It takes time to get used to your new normal. The love you share/d with your husband will live on in your heart an memories. You will never forget. I wish I could help you. Give words of advise, but I'm just at a cross road. My hope is that there really is a heaven and that God is loving and forgiving, true to his word...I hope to see my Dad again.
Your in my thoughts and prayers

your felings are normal
Sue,
What you are feeling is what we've all felt. My husband died March 25, 2010 so even though it's now 2 years I miss him so much. I get jealous every time I see a couple laughing and having fun. We were married for 46 years and had known each other since 1st grade. Life changed overnight. Tom had only been diagnosed in January, so we hadn't even gotten used to that when he died.
I did go to a counselor for 10 months and had to be on meds.
You were married for a long time too, so just take your time grieving. This is a great web site and I don't come on here as often but still check on friends I've met on this site.
Be strong & take a day at a time. I, along with others on here will be here for you whenever you need to talk. "Carole"0 -
