Results: Scheduled for an MRI Thursday, March 22nd @ 8:30AM – Pink Bus please?
I received a phone call to confirm my appt. for a bilateral mri this Thursday, March 22nd. My heart was pounding super fast – it still is and this was 45 mins ago— normal? I had a mammo right after radiation, so this should be my real scan since dx. All prayers and positive thoughts are welcomed. I need you!

I hate the MRI's, but, they
I hate the MRI's, but, they are an excellent test to have. I have one every year. I hate that feeling when the contrast starts. I always feel like I am peeing my pants. lol At least they warn us about that.
Mine usually take about 45 minutes to an hour, closer to an hour. The techs put on music and talk to me thru the headphones, so, it isn't too bad. It is noisy though, so, it is sometimes hard to even hear the music.
Good luck to you and I will be praying for the best results.
Sue
p.s. you might want to take a nerve pill before you go for the test, just to relax you.0 -

I am sending good 'juju' your way! The pink flamingos won't let you down! Every test is hard after what we we've been through. Just know we are all here for you!
I can understand your fears.I don't think I've ever had a MRI.At least not where I am in a chamber for a long period of time.Maybe a short time once.I would freak out if I had to go through that.Like others said they make it comfortable and doable. I think some take a relaxer before the procedure to calm their nerves. I would think about that if you have fears.
I'll be with you when you have the procedure as other Pink Sisters. We're all wishing for a clean bill of health. No tumors etc.
Hope you're breathing easier.

May the peace of God be yours Thursday and every day as we battle together. Please let us know the results.
you can be at ease knowing you've had a most important test that was thorough and conclusive.
Think the good, positive thoughts, try to stay calm and relaxed and know that you are in the Lord's loving hands.

I will definitely be on the bus with you on Thursday. I am praying that God gives you peace & comfort. I'm also praying for good results.
I always go to sleep during my MRIs & the last one I woke myself up snoring. I remember thinking that I wish that old man snoring would hush & low & behold it was me haha ( I know too much info, but I hope it made you smile)

Sending my very best wishes...
... along with HOPES & prayers for "clean" results from tomorrow's test. The anxiety is completely understandable. I'll also hope your wait for word is as short as possible.
