Wednesday we are going to that specific dotor who will be performing that, from what our current radiation doctor told us, is that she will be hospitalized for few days during which they will be placing needles in her tongue via some kind of a device. I will know more on Wednesday. -

that is true brachytherapy. The intent is to deliver a very high very local dose of radiation, sparing the normal tissues around the cancer. This makes a lot of sense in her situation.
