    Soreness
    Denise,
I never had a tumor removed from my groin, but I am sure it will be sore for a couple of weeks. There are so many muscles in that area that are used when walking. It will take time to heal. Just try to take it easy for a few days. John

    I did..
    Hi Denise,
I had a groin tumor removed and if memory serves me right, it was 7 to 10 days with soreness. I was told not to lift anything over 10 pounds for a month after surgery. It will get better, but take it easy. Love...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)

    Groin Surgery
    Denise,

I also had groin surgery and had a swollen lymph node removed. I remember being sore for a few days, iced it for a couple of days and had dissolving stitches. Went back for a check up a month later at which time it was totally healed. The scar is gone now too. Hope you feel better soon.
