Questions for my teal sisters

in Ovarian Cancer #1
Ok something new not bad but wish it was not happening. My lyrica and morphine were upped at the same time and then the twitching started. The pallaitive care nurse said it was the morphine, she had me on 60mg am/noon/pm she also upped my lyrica from 75mg to 300mg I was taking 152mg at noon and 150mg at 3am. I went back on the morphine to 30, 30, 60 the twitching was getting worst and so was the pain. My twitching was so bad that I could not hold anything in my hands because they were twitching so bad. it happened in my face, arm, and legs. I lowered my lyrica to 150mg at night only and upped my morphine to 30, 60, 60. the twitching slowed down to were I only feel it and you don't any movement except in my fingers. My lyrica has been upped again to 75mg at 1pm and then 225 at 3am (that is when I go to bed lol) and I found that my mussels are jumping again I keep being told that it can't be the lyrica so I was wondering if others on lyrica have had this problem or am I just a strange duck.

    Kinda new on here but I was reading where one of the side effects of Lyrica is jerking motions and it should be reported to your doctor. I haven't taken Lyrica so don't know by experience. Good Luck!

    Please report this to your doctor immediately. Lyrica can build up in your system & cause these problems. I don't know why you are being told otherwise.

    I am with you I get the symptoms no one else gets ! Everyone is different how they react to meds. Nurses and Drs. Go by what they normally see, we have already proved we are not normal just by having this disease

    I have told them and we just up my medication so next time I go in I will let them know this again and get off the medication. I makes it hard to write or type because of the jerking. The nurse who told me it was not the lyrica was the pallaitve care nurse so that suprises me. Once again thank you for your help I know I can count on all of you to inform me and give me support.

    I am glad to meet another teal sister duck just want to say quack, quack, and quack which means love, hugs, and prayers. All of my teal sister duck or not need some love, hugs, and prayers.

    thanks Kelly laughter always
    thanks Kelly laughter always has been my crutch for when things are down. I never liked to see people down so jokes were a way to lift them up. I also worked in fields that were hard work I saw a lot of pain and sufferings so I had to have a sense of humor or my jobs would have eaten me alive. I also have other outlets I sing and i love music, I draw, and I write poetry and short stories as a way of letting go. I am glad if I have been able to lift you and others we all can use a laugh or two with everyting we am going through
