Shaved head today.

Tried to hold off as long as I could but was getting tired of dead hair in face on pillow ect so had it all shaved today.
My neighbor had a electric kit & did the honors. Had a little fun 1st, cut to a mowhawk style for a few hrs to freak some people out then cut it all off later.

Feels much better now.

    Kenny, I think that was a brave thing to do...glad it makes you feel better. I can't imagine if I had to do the same...so I really salute you! Each time I read posts from all our friends here I am touched in one way or the other. Not sure if I will do chemo yet Im getting post op Pet scan & Ctscan in the next 2 weeks then meeting with my oncologist to discuss options for treatment. It can be a scary journey sometimes. I hope your treatments are going well!

    Have to find hats
    When my hair fell out my head was cold all the time so had to go looking for hats. My hair is just now growing back and it's real wavy and curly. Hope all goes well.

    Where's the mohawk picture??? I remember when my son wanted a mohawk so badly, so I let him grow one in the summer with the deal that it would be cut off the day before school started and I would take him down to Sears so he could have pictures taken to remember it. He still has the pictures somewhere.
    So where's our pics????

    Cant figure out how to post pics on this forum. Can see how on the avatar pic (after downsizing)
    Also have them on cell phone so have to transfer to PC & then? Sorry Im so technology challenged.

    I have my chemo hairdo redo as well. I ended up with white baby fine hair where I lost hair during chemo and now I just blend it with my darker thicker hair into a pony tail. Hope you are doing well on chemo with good results.

    Hi Kenny

    Your very brave my respects I. Am losing my hair as well..being very tempting to do the same but do not have the strength yet . I look funny am bold in the whole front. So its cold here so am getting away with some hats. Going for my 3rs round of chemo so let see how much my hair holds on hope to God I have strenght for then.

    Hi Kenny you'll be used very soon , it's a good
    decision otherwise can be disgusting , hair everywhere especially uncomfortable on your face!

    as soon as my mother-in-law finds her clippers mine is going well i had it coming out by the wazzo lol

    You'll feel better when its off. Hated the dead lose hair all over the place.
    For men its a easier choice I guess. I had always wanted to shave it at various times but didnt have the courage so now I have a great excuse.

    i took it all off tonight, i had asked my mother-in-law, but i decided at the last min tonight i had to be the one to do it and i had a lil help from my wife to get the stuff in the back i missed. it is weird i do not recognize my self the mirror now. lol funny huh?
