Has anyone else experienced heart attacks due to 5FU chemo?

I have appendiceal cancer, signet cell carcinoid tumors, Stage 4, BUT it has metastasized to my ovaries and rectum, NOT to my liver, lymph nodes, bones, lungs, etc.
Doctor tried putting me on 5FU in January 2011 but I had 3 heart attacks in 4 weeks from it. Switched me to Irinotecan from February to August. It didn't do much to the tumors. Surgery in Sept to remove my gall bladder, spleen, sm intestine, R colon, ovaries, and chemo bath. Now talking about trying a reduced dosage of 5FU.
Anyone else had this experience? Any treatments that have worked?
