Hi all:
Got back Monday afternoon from NC. All was well there. In-laws doing pretty good. Father-in-law had 88th birthday while I was there. The boys did let me back in the house and were so overjoyed to see Mama of course. Believe it or not, am finally taking down Chritmas decorations! I leave them up thru Feb.! I love them so; it's so depressing to take them down. But I did intersperse some Valentine dec. with them so now will be ready to put out St. patty's and Easter! Fortunately those are the job Christmas is!
Please continue to keep my friend Gladys in your prayers. She's the one who just lost her husband Eddie to cancer two weeks ago. You know, it was diagnosed in Jan. and passed away Feb 22! This is such a monster. She's doing pretty good. The dog they have and is now hers of course was a real Daddy's boy and he is really grieving but I think finally starting to come around. She had to take Eddie's beagle hound to the pound as she didn't feel she could properly take care of him as he was an outside doggie. But good news, the shelter called her the next day and he'd already been adopted!
Brian, my nephew, saw the eye doctor Monday as one of his eyes tends to wander a bit and sometimes the other but not as much. But the report was good and the doc said the problem was caused from the accident and she can go in and shorten the nerves which will set it right again, but not right away as he has other things that need to be done and there was no rush and he does see fine.
Will be home till the end of the month and then my friend Debbie and I will go to Hilton Head with two more friends (one who has the condo!) for a few days and I guess I will be home for a good while after that! Hope everyone is doing well and God Bless!
