I've been doing cisplatin/gemzar for quite awhile. If you have any questions, I might be able to help.

not exactly
I have just cisplatin/gemzar one week and gemzar the next. I then get two weeks off. I had carbo/gemzar for several infusions, but became allergic to the carbo. I need to have a neulasta shot after the gemzar only infusion. My last scan showed quite an improvement, so let's keep going in that direction!

I am on the same regime including the Avastin which will be my maintenance for the coming year - needed 6 cycles of the carbo/gemzar avastin combo - have just completed my 5th with no problems - had a small recurrance on my colon which was removed laproscopicly in Nov. at Sloan Kettering - easy surgery - then the chemo started in Dec. and so far blood counts and CA-125 (down to 14 from 36) have been GREAT - so hang in there Hon - I am here to affirm there is Always Hope!!!!!
