Not in my dad's case
Hi,
My dad had Melanoma spread to his spleen after first being discovered in his lungs and brain. When a biopsy was needed, he was already on blood thinners due to clot issues, and the spleen was considered as an option, but deemed too risky to remove, due to the bleeding.
I don't know if this really helps, but it depends on many factors if the doctors will remove organs or try to treat them.
Good luck, I hope they are able to remove it!
