New Chapter didn't begin!
They said they'd call to reschedule. Sometimes chapters drag on and on, so I'll post when the New Chapter actually begins!

Unfortunately rads machines break often
I think Nick had 5 reschedules or delays during his radiation. The most frustrating was the breakdown during his last week. He had to carry 2 days into the next week to complete radiation.
Hopefully they will get things repaired quickly and you guys can move to the "next chapter".
Early AM rush hour traffic! YUCK!
Hugs to you for being able to drive in that mess

I finally got the call - rescheduled to Friday at 10 a.m. At least 10 is easier to handle getting across town on the L.A. Freeway. Wednesday we see the Oncologist and I will get PET results. I'm holding my breath.0 -

Yup Ginny - we had a 3 day delay in radiation when the machine Don is on broke down. They made up one day on a Sunday and added the other two days to the end of his treatment. I certainly hope this is the only delay you will experience - these are so frustrating. I cannot even imagine what Terry and Nick went through - getting all the way to the last week and have the machine break down? Ugghhhh.
Kudos to you for driving in the traffic you have to deal with - that would be enough to put me on edge. My in-laws used to live in San Francisco and I remember when they retired, they planned their days around rush hour traffic.
Best of luck to you and your mom - you two are two tough ladies for sure!
