Should I sign this surgery form?
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm lost and need opinions and advice. My Ctscan revealed a sizable mass in or around my fallopian tube that they think is benign or low-grade. I am having surgery to remove it tomorrow. They most likely have to take out my left ovary and fallopian tube. They want me to sign a paper stating that if cancer is found other places it is okay for them to take other organs including my reproductive organs. I am 39 and have never had children and was going to try to have one in the next year or two, so this is really freaking me out. I don't know whether of not I should sign this paper. Thank you so much for your time.

Don't mean to be rude
Hopefully it is benign and you can get along with life. If it is cancer, get it out. Don't leave any possibility that any cancer cells are left. Who wants to go in for another surgery in a few weeks. About pregnancy, I don't know if you have a significant other, adoption is a loving option. I am an adoptive mother of 2. Best wishes to you. Keep us informed.0 -

You were not rude at all. Thank you for your sincere and helpful response. I very much appreciate it. I only had one ovary and fall. tube removed, but I would not rule out adoption. Thank you for reminding me of that loving choice.
I'm going to put a new subject under "A bit Confused, shed light anyone?" So please check it out if you can.0
