hold on - They said my husband has Ataxia and Neuropathy.

I was wondering if anyone else has the same diagnosis. Is this a progressice disease?

    These terms are actually not a diagnosis
    they are a statement of symptoms. Ataxia means "wobbilyness", where neuropathy is a functional impairment of the nervous system. Neither is a label beyond just a statement of the presenting complaint, all done up in nice medical words. The testing is done to determine the cause, and therefore the diagnosis. There are many many causes of these things, you know. At this juncture, I wouldn't bother myself to read on the internet, because you'll find a million pages of confusing junk. I think you said in another post that an MRI was planned. There may be other tests as well. I'd wait this out and let the diagnosis lead me, once its established.

    He's not going to be any
    He's not going to be any kind of normal until at least 1 year out; possibly 18 months. My hub is 2 years out of treatment & doing well; the 1st year was rough.
    Has he had physical therapy?
