Rather disturbing:emaxhealth.com/1020/how-drug-shortages-could-affect-future-cancer-care
While this next one relates to breast cancer treatment, the concept applies to us too-putting a monetary value on extending life, on the site's home page at the left:oncologyreport.com
"US Oncologists Confront Pressure to Curb Cancer Costs."
Here, BIG P trumps little b in new drug development at FDA:
genengnews.com/gen-news-highlights/big-pharma-squashes-new-accelerated-drugs-approval-bill-sought-by-biotechs/81246316/
Which might explain the next one at:
clinicaloncology.com/CancerArticles.aspx?c_id=47&c=Colorectal
"Europe Dominates Colorectal Cancer Trials"
(you might want to look at some of the other articles at this site cited below this one)
And here's one having nothing to do with subject at hand:
"Tumor-infiltrating granulocytic cells promote cancer cell dissemination", at:

Re shortages. Certainly tempts one to buy wholesale and stockpile with an ultralow temp freezer (-40C to -80C) even if the material had to be handled in aseptically, dry nitrogen for oral compounds.
Re TREAT politics, big P helps squelch it. What's new?
Re Tumor-infiltrating granulocytic cells promote cancer cell dissemination
I think the Japanese type, CIM-UFT-LV-PSK components (+ CAM nutrients), some used early and continuously, help address this problem. In my wife's monitoring, new vs old small mets is a crucial line in determining the level of treatment success. So far, good. Old mets that grow seem less worrisome than new ones as long as a surgeon or other definitive treatment can reach the old met(s).0 -
