playing catch-up ... again

Hi All... I feel so out of touch and I'm trying to catch up with all the posts that I have missed. Last week was supposed to be my "good week" after my January chemo rounds, but I developed a high fever and have been sick all week. I'm on an antibiotic for they think is an ear/sinus infection and have had three blood draws and a sonigram this week. I still had fever last night and am supposed to have chemo again on Tuesday.... I guess I'll have wait and see what my ONC says on Monday. UGH.... hope I can go to the Super Bowl Party tomorrow!

    hope you feel better soon!!!!!!!! WHY DO YOU HAVE TO GET A SONOGRAM?? Rest all you can and if you can't go to the party,,bring the party to your house....val

    I hate to hear this. I will say extra prayers that the fever goes away and you start feeling better. I am hoping you will be well enough for that Super Bowl Party. I am kind of in a funk today because my little grandson has been begging me to go to his Taikwondo tournament and I didn't go. My daughter told me there was no place to sit down. They sit on the floor. It is an all day affair and I thought I should stay home.
    Sending you many many hugs. If I know you, you will try your best to be at the Super bowl party.

    They wanted me to have the sonogram to rule out a urinary or kidney problem. It came out just fine... Whew! (((HUGS))) Maria

    So sorry to read that you've been sick with a fever but so glad that the results of your sonogram were good. Hopefully, you'll feel well enough to enjoy the Super Bowl party tomorrow. You deserve to have some fun!

    to hear that you are going through so much you are in my prays, I hope that this is someting so simple as a small infection and that it does not turn into anything big. You will get through the super bowl party and it will be something to take your mind off of the cancer I hope even if it is only for a little while. Thanks for sharing so we can all pray for you.
