in Skin Cancer #1
At this point I am pretty nervous. I went to the dermatologist and she removed what I thought was a mole on my face. She was suspicious about it being basal cell and was sending it to the lab. I called yesterday to check on the results and was told that it was being sent for special stain. I have tried to research why this would be done on the internet and I cannot find any information regarding this.

Does this mean there is definitely something wrong?

Any info is appreciated.
