No sleep for the weary
I know it's been ages since I posted any news. This is my quick late night update.
Life has been good, bad and everything in between lately.
Seems like every time I sit down and read through the new posts, I get called away with some other crisis.
My mom has been struggling and I worry for her so much. Every time the phone rings it's another call about her status.
I also have to go to Florida on Sunday. Some of you know the story behind my trips east. It's difficult to leave my mom right now, but I have no choice. My plan is to stay only till Wed. then fly back home.
The next plan of tx has been postponed again. This time because of mom and Fl. Hopefully the delay won't really matter in the big picture. I am of course not excited about more "fun" stuff, but will do whatever it takes.
Oh, and hubby will need surgery to fix a tear in his knee. Poor guy just hobbles around and tries not to show me his pain.
My life is a crazy circus right now. One thing after another after another and on and on.
Sleep has not been friendly to me lately. I'm sure it's the worry about everything...
I feel a bit like a bleary eyed robot. I guess I'm rambling a bit.
I sure do miss talking with you all.
I have noticed all the new folks that have joined our group. So to all the newbies, WELCOME.
Well I should try and get a little rest tonight. I will try and post more tomorrow or asap.
I'm always thinking of you all and keeping you close in my heart. Missing you too...
Lisha

Great to hear from you!
Lisha,
Oh my, you certainly have a lot going on! Hope you can take a bit of time for "you" each day to rest and take a deep breath!
You mentioned that your tx has been postponed again. That is always a concern right? If only we knew what the future holds... Keeping you in my prayers along with my other "Lymphoma buddies".
Wishing you the best with all of it!
Love ya,

Lisha, at times it's hard to focus, you have soooo much on your plate. Try to stay strong and positive as you can......Wishing you well Vinny
Hi Vinny
Thank you for reminding me that it is hard to focus. At times I feel my brain racing from one thought to another.
I am staying as positive as I can in each moment. Trying my best.
Thanks for your kindness
Lisha

Ugh!
Hi Lisha,
Dang...I was hoping to hear you have been relaxing enjoying your wonderful new garden area. So sorry all of this stress is going on. Sometimes we just want to scream "enough is enough", which I'm sure is exactly where your at. I think about you all of the time and want only peace in your life. Maybe when you get home from Florida and get on a scheduled plan to treat your cancer, some of this stress will go away. You have a safe trip to Florida and I will have you in my prayers the whole time. Love you...Sue0 -
Oi vay
I am sorry to hear things are stressful at this time! My little boy had his tonsils out yesterday and from all the stressing I got a bladder infection and could barley walk or sit from the pain! Amamzing how we internalize everything and it comes out in various other ways, but luckily this too shall pass and there is always a silver lining to every cloud!
God bless and try rest!

Hi Donna
Thanks for thinking of me. My stress has been on a roller coaster. Right now I am feeling calmer. Sometimes it's just day to day.
I was so happy to read that you don't need to start any tx right now. What a relief. Hopefully you will be able to continue doing the w/w for a good long time.
Take good care

Hi Sue
You are so right. All I want is some peaceful heaaling. Enough is enough...
My Mom is a bit better, she seems stable. Not great but feels like she is heading in the right direction.
I think of you all the time too. Us Libra nightowls just have that connection, you know..
I just mentioned to Donna about my stress. It's up and down. Mostly I am doing better with keeping calm. I'm trying.
I'll try and post a hello from the sunshine state.
Peaceful healing

Hi Kyla
Your words have such meaning for me. Thank you so much. My husband is always saying the same to me, but hearing the words from another really seems to help me. I know this will pass and it will be better. I BELIEVE that!
Hoping that your little one is feeling fine. Kids bounce back so fast. Sorry that your having more struggles. Hang in there. You are a very strong woman. Having little ones and having chemo at the same time, is so difficult. I hope you have some extra help at home. Be sure to get your rest too...
Take care
