Biopsy is Friday

So, in the meantime, is there a good book on BC that I can read - something that talks about getting through it and nutrition, and things of that sort. I am not holding out for good news, cuz everything so far says "malignancy is suspected", so I'm preparing myself for the worst and if it comes out great, then fantastic.
In the meantime, I want to run to Barns and Noble and get a book or two. Any suggestions?
(Hi, Angie -- hate to see you on this board and on the EC board too!) Ginny

Dr Susan Love's Breast book
It is considered by many to be sort of the "bible" of breast cancer info. It doesn't really deal with nutrition so much but is very informative. I know I have seen others rec. a couple of other books about getting through it so hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in soon.
Good luck on Friday, I will send you positive thoughts and prayers, and hope for something to keep you busy through the weekend as you wait for results,

You are on the prayer list.
First let me wish you the best .....As for books....right now I would pick one that ISN'T related to breast cancer...I love to read, a real passion of mine...reading a good book can can transport you to somewhere else....I am never without a book....I can get so engrossed that when I stop reading, sometimes I'm surprised to realize I'm sitting in my own house...one that I really liked, and it's been out for years, is titled Under the Tuscan Sun by Francis Mayes...you'll have plenty of time to read about bc....
Keep us posted....we care -

Ginny, hopefully you'll get good biopsy results! This board has wonderful, very helpful and caring people. But I do hope you don't have to become a 2 cancer board subscriber, also.
