Enlarged Lymphnodes
I have been feeling like i have a minor cold lately. Tonight I just got this piercing pain under my left ear so i started to investigate. I found 2 lumps on each side of my adams aplle.they seem so sudden and i got the whole turkey neck thing too.
Of course I am worried now. I hoped you guys could give me insight on if it could be normal? My last radiation was 11=11=11.I have NPC that was declared ned just a few weeks ago.
Thanks!

I would be surprised to find
I would be surprised to find out that you had a recurrence in the same general area that soon after rads. Also the fact that they are on both sides of your neck makes it sound more like an infection. Purely a non-medical personal opinion. If it were me I would be at my ENT's office this morning. -

Same as JTL and Pam said. Overnight, in the area of recent rads, with a shot of pain, atypical for recurrance. Can you push them around? See the doc.
best to you Kyle,
Hal

Atypicle for recurrance? Do you think its the C coming back instead of a cold? -

I don't think its a recurrence Kyle, wish you all the best, pls update us tomorrow... -
            A cold...
Bilateral nodes and a cold, sounds like an infectious process.
As others have said, unusual that it would be a recurrence in a radiated area. Add to the fact they are not residual nodes and you just finished treatment in Nov. I don't think I've read any recurrence on OCF happen in that time frame in a radiated area.
Best answer will come from your doc, I wouldn't worry for now as it just doesn't make sense that it's trouble. -

Sorry Kyle, what I meant to say was that it's very unlikeyly to be a recurrance, given the symptoms and timing you have described.
best, Hal
