CT completed today

in Ovarian Cancer #1
I had my CT done today so I will know on Monday if the cancer is back. I have been so jumpy today I almost did not make it through the CT. MY nerves in my arm, chest, and face have been jumping around a lot today when I spoke with my NP she said it was because we uped the does and I am having a reaction to the morphine so she said we had to take it down. My first responce was NO WAY IN HELL. I was finally feeling a little better I am in pain but now where near what I have been. The nurse brought me back to earth and told me we are not lowering all the way where is was. So at two I take one instead of two, ok I can handle that. Then I told the nurse about being so light headed and the room spinning some she said that is because we upped it a little fast. That will work itself out by the end of the week. After how my day went today I just want to put my head in the sand because of everthing that is going on. I paid my tags, insurance, and 143.00 to the car company so that I could get a 60 day deferment, I then found out I did not have enough to pay my cobra, my storage unit, or my pay day lone. I had to send out several emails out asking my friends if they could help me out. Doing that is tearing me up I have not dad to ask for that kind of help I have taken care of my bills and myself since I was 16. My mom and dad have been helping since I found out that I have cancer but they can no longer help outside of giving me a place to live and taking care of me while I am sick the money side the can no longer do they have used alot of the savings already and just don't have the funds anymore. So to say the least this day has been hell for me. I just want to hide in a dark cave so no one could find me and I just wait form lord to take me home. Sorry for unloading on all of you but it just has been one of those days and I am feeling really down. Thanks you all for listening to me.

    Let us know what those results are, Anne. You certainly have a lot to deal with - I know it must be overwhelming. I've never liked asking for help either. Fortunately, it's only been the case once or twice. But especially during my two bouts with OVCA, I didn't ask for anything. Of course, everyone was so helpful and available to me. But I'm pretty independent and avoid asking.

    I'm sure it's difficult for your parents to watch their daughter go through this. And I know it probably is hard not to be able to do more. But it's wonderful that you have the emotional support as well. Please don't feel too down. And the Lord will take you when He's ready - all in His time. I believe that He will give you peace and strength to move forward to do what you must. Sending lots of prayers and hugs to you, Anne.

    Thank you very much I do know God blessed me when he gave me my mom and dad I can see the pain in their eyes and how much they are worring about next Monday. Thank you for your pray I need them I am still having a hard time I have been asleepy all day and I do that when things are just to much. I will be ok but thank you for you support

    do you have a church to hlep
    do you go to a church that might be able to hlep you financially?

    One area has been blessed
    I did go to my church in need of three hundred for my tags so on Thursday my pastors wife told the church member just before the bible study started that one of the church member is in need of help with a bill they could not pay. They came to the church as they should of but we were unable to meet that need because thithes were to low. I am asking you know as members to see if you can find it in your heart to help this member. She let me know that by the end of the bible study she had the 300.00 for me. I was a blessing to me that my church family reached out and met that need. I know my battle is hard but my Lord is strong. This need has been met I am praying that all my needs are met.

    Sending you thoughts and prayers....I am happy your congregation was able to help with the funds....you do not need to be so stressed out with money woes in addition to awaiting the CAT scan results....

    Contact your local ACS
    I don't know but I'm pretty sure they might be able to help alittle with your financial situation. They did help my a friend of mine many years ago when she was fighting breast cancer it can't hurt to ask.
