Appt. with your surgeon
Hi Stacy,
I just wanted to wish you luck with your appointment tomorrow. It would be good to come armed with a written list of questions for the doctor. It is easy to forget things in the heat of the moment. If possible, bring someone else with you - another set of ears is always helpful. Remember to ask about his experience with breast surgery. If he makes a recommendation for any particular type of biopsy, don't forget to ask WHY? What makes that type better for your situation than another type? Ask about type of anesthesia and pain management, also. Who will give you the biopsy results and when might you expect to get them? That is about as far as you need to go right now. The results will dictate what happens next - or maybe nothing at all.
You are right to keep busy. Let us know how it goes.
