    I'm slow on the uptake
so bear with me, as I don't know your story. As far as I know, on this board PNS would likely mean paranasal sinus. Am I correct in guessing your primary was a squamous carcinoma of one of the paranasal sinuses? In medical parlance PNS can also designate peripheral nervous system, but I don't see that as likely applying here.

Can you tell me exactly what the CT showed? The term "fullness" is a very nondescript term, and it is kind of surprising they would use that description without further elaborating on what the characteristics of the fullness are. For instance, if you had a tumor, it would actually be measured. If you had a fluid accumulation within a sinus, it would state that. If the lining of a sinus was thickened, it would likely state exactly that.

There are too many unknowns here to confidently predict what this CT means. OTOH, it is hard to imagine a report like this has any negative significance, given what I just stated in paragraph 2.

    Best to you.

    sounds good
Kind of a lazy radiology report, lol. OTOH, it sounds about like you'd expect three months after radiation. This sould appear to be just a thickening left over after rads, not cancer. Will be interested in hearing your treatment physician's take on this. Best to you.

    Hi Meja
My cancer was base-of-tongue SCC, and after treatment, my Stanford doc always described the cancer site as having a "resolved fullness." I got 'scoped every six weeks for the first 18 months after treatment. Now I'm getting scoped every eight weeks. My follow up scans have been clear.
