in Head and Neck Cancer #1
I love NED! This was my second PET scan. Went for scan at 10 and was done at 11:30. Got to my fave doc's at 11:40 and by 11:50 he had looked at the scan and was pleased. I felt like I could breathe again. Went to see the 2nd doc at 2 and he said the scan looked fabulous or words such as that. My first doc, Dr. Siddiqui was my radiation doc and was the one who came to my benefit this past March. He has been my hero and I love him and his bedside manner dearly. He gave me the sad news (for me!) that he is leaving in March and going back to Detroit, where he had come from. He is going to be at the Henry Ford Hospital so if any of you need help, please look him up. I asked why he was going and he said it was a big promotion for him. I told him I will be stalking him online....a better and kinder doc you won't meet.....
So, I hope you all are NEDs too. I am thankful each day for another day to enjoy my life!

    Congrats.....
    When it works well, its pretty neat. I've the same relationship with my ENT oncologist. If he were to leave, I'd be hard-pressed to replace him. Maybe not fair to the next guy, but that's the way it is. Congratulations again.

    Nancy, great news....you go girl. sorry about your fav doc leaving, but be glad he was there when you needed him and now he is going off to help create another survivor !
