Here's a good review of the literature discussing management and outcome of women with Stage 1 uterine papillary serous carcinoma. Remember that with the new FIGO system, surgically staged 1b has been collapsed into Stage 1a, which may make the findings of new studies seem worse than those reported prior to this change.
