you'll make it
So sorry to hear that your hubby lost his battle. I know how you feel right now, believe me cause I've been through it. It is such a scary feeling to know that we are now on our own and responsible for everything. Take it one day at a time & confide in friends and relatives. Grieve & cry for as long as it takes you no matter what. Only you can determine how you feel.
My hubby will be gone 2 years in March and I still miss him so much & think of him every day. I keep trying to remember his voice cause I don't want to forget how he sounded when he said " I love you honey>"
We are all here for you to support you whenever you feel the need to talk.
Take care. "Carole"0 -

My Deepest Sympathies
I am so sorry for your recent loss of your husband. I lost my dad to EC with mets to the liver in March 2010. You will make it. It will take time, but you will. Take it slow, grieve for days, months, years. We are here for you. We will always have a shoulder to lean on and ears to listen.

Sorry
I haven't been on here for awhile so didn't see your post. I'm sorry you have lost your husband. For awhile I think we all lose our way as we try to understand how we will go forward. As I've said before, time does help. Be kind to yourself now. Hugs, Fay0 -
Lost your best friend
We are on a parallel journey, slg.
I am so sorry for your loss. I sincerely hope you made a ton of valuable, precious memories these last two years. But, don't only remember the last two years, because they were the hardest times you shared together. Take some comfort in the days before cancer. The many good, happy years of love you had. My sincerest condolences.

I'm very sorry to hear of your husband's passing. He fought so hard and you stayed right by him every step. I appreciate you keeping us close and letting us know of his journey. You are not alone and my prayers are with you and your family.
Sincerely,

Me too
Honey, I lost my husband to Lung Cancer on November 14, 2011 and I am still lost without him. All I do is cry. I do have a grief counselor that comes over once a week and go to grief counseling once a week but all I want to do is sit on my loveseat and cry and that is basically all I do. I have a journal that I write in that I started the day he died and I plan on being buried (cremated) with it. I miss my husband so much. It is not fair and now I have to get use to this now normal and I hate it! But unfortunately there is nothing that I can do about it. All I can do is cry for him, cry cause he isn't here, cry cause it is NOT FAIR! I feel for you. I am sorry for your loss!
Take care!
~Kelly
