how much weight post total removal of stomach surgery?

hi all, wondering how much weight individuals who had their total stomach removed lost generally? how long did it take you to go back to your normal weight? my mother will have her entire stomach removed early feb. in 2012 and wondering what we might expect regarding weight lost, recovery, etc. thanx in advance for sharing your information.

she's had 3 rounds of chemo. will have stomach removed and will have another 3 rounds of chemo if that is helpful info. thanx.
