Congrats 'nita, my own 4 month CT done yesterday showed no new activity and no changes, so I'm still stable and in remission... next scan far away at a new 6 months. Can I have the next dance?0 -
Awesome!!!
Its so wonderful to read a positive post like that. So will you stay on the Tarceva, or did you already stop? Definitely reason to celebrate!!0 -

Thank you all for your kind words of support and well wishes. I have always felt a victory for one of us is a victory for all of us. Likewise when things go wrong with one of our group, it sets me back a bit and I pull away from the site and lurk instead of participating. Dan - I can't wait to hear your good news! Sandblaster, one does not typically stop Tarceva. You take it until it quits you (cells build up a resistance to it) or in some cases it makes you too ill from the side effects. Some people have been on Tarceva for 6+ years. I am hoping it will work for me that long, or longer!0 -

We love to hear the good news!
I see your post about Tarceva, which will my husband will begin if the cancer returns, and I know the results can be significant and long-lasting. University Colorado Hospital and several other places are running clinical trials on drugs post-Tarceva, too--so there's even a Plan B for when you need it (and we hope you're in the 6+ years group).0
