Mikemetz is in Decatur, GA and still dealing with ORN. I had "Debridement, The Sequel" just today (10/25/2012). The first one was in April of 2012, with a tooth extraction, that never got on the right path to healing. Here's hoping the second debridement works and I can be pain-free in that area after more than 4 years. The good news is that I'm NED, with my next scan in December.

Still here!
Was 4 years in November. I forget sometimes and I love it! D-mn scar on my neck always makes people ask the dreaded question... usually in a whisper... "How are you doing?"
I usually say "I'm fine, how are you". Then I realize that they meant "how are you doing (with your cancer)" and then I tell them I was doing great until they reminded me about it! LOL
I have a sore throat and I am hoarse a lot which is annoying but tolerable. I am a bit more fearful that every single ache and pain is something serious, but, I am sure attempted murder victims are a little gun shy sometimes too.
I don't have much tolerance for the bulk of the people in this world taking life for granted, but I think I am just jealous. One thing for sure, I am glad to be on the top side of the grass.
For all of you just starting out, you can definitely do it. Get it done and get back to living.
