hello everyone-

Is there anyone out there treated w/ radiation and chemo for hypopharngeal stage 4? I had 38 rounds of rads and three chemo treatments ending June 20,2011. I'm 6 mos. neg last month.

    You'll soon see several hypopharyngeals post here. I was treated for orapharyngeal, base of tongue stage four. 35 rads sessions, three rounds of induction chemo, and six (of seven planned) rounds of chemo with rads. Happy to see you got your NED already. I had to wait just over a year after chemo and rads were finished (dirty scans til I got a modified radical neck dissection nine months after treatment).

    Sounds like you've been through the mill. I hope all is well now for you. I was checking here to see if anyone was close to my situation and what side effects from treatment they are experiencing.
