Hyperbaric

Hi Everybody,
Just went to the dentist and it looks like I am going to need some teeth pulled.
Maybe as many as 5. Anyone been through this? Your input would be appreciated.

Best,
Steve

    I've had one tooth pulled,
so I'm only 20% as experienced as you are going to be.

Did hyperbarics, the standard 20 sessions pre, and 10 sessions post. 90 minutes at 2.4 atm 100% 02. I've been waiting for ratface to chime in. He had a great group of articles he just shared with me a couple of days ago. I'll send you a link, giving him credit for its origin.

Pat, are you sure that's right? I tried it and got an error message, and I couldn't make a link with it.

    Applejacks
Might be time to lay off the applejacks, there, Stevo. Could be contributing to decay.

    OK here's the deal
Rick had trouble emailing me a functioning link, but eventually got the job done. I can't seem to manipulate what he sent me, but the google link to these documents works this morning (warning: it did not work the other day).

If you type "hyperbaric 69" into google, the link to these articles will pop up from bethesda near the top of the list. The individual articles are searchable from there.
Sorry, its the best I can do. Many of these are very worthwhile reading for those needing hyperbarics.

    Tanks
Thank you for all the links. Most informative. They even have a chamber you can rent
now. Don't know if it is cost effective yet, as I am waiting to hear back from the
company. Apple jacks are still a main staple of my diet and will not be given up my dear.
Sorry. And I don't have any decay just bone loss that is making me the all new Chesser
cat. I'll get some partials so I can whistle when I talk, until I get em right.

    Still enjoying survival
    Thanks to all,
    Merry new year,
    Steve

    Link continues to baffle me
I actually tried a couple of times to post the link but something about it confounds me. Glad you finally found the information as it is very good reading. Good luck!

i have had 6 teeth removed 2 over 2 years ago and 4 teeth 2 months ago. I did not have HBO, for the two bottom teeth i was on antibiotic for a month and the surgeon reviewed every two weeks for 2 months. for the 4 upper teeth i did not have HBO, i was on antibiotic for 2 weeks and checked every couple weeks. now after todays visit he told me come back in 3 months.
I also used a prescription mouth was each time.

I have had not problems other than slow healing.

    Living with the cure
    Hi Steve,

Hope you've gotten the information you need. You and I have been on about the same track from the start. My gums are rising according to my dentist, so I expect to be on the hunt for a chamber at some point.

I googled the "hyperbaric 69" and it worked fine. The first link was to the Bethesda 69 collection which opened as a .pdf that I saved as a document.

    best, Hal
