I am changing from Navelbine to Gemzar.... Can anyone give me any info on Gemzar> I was on Navel bine for 3 mos from a reoccurrance of breast cancer and it stopped workin after the first month. Is Gemzar stronger then Navelbine and have stronger side affects? Please help if u have any info on this drug so at least I have an idea? Will it make me tired? and so on.

    Hi Erica
    I was not on Gemzar, however I read about this drug on this board. Low white blood counts is the biggest problem which can be overcome by blood transfusion .
    Wishing you minimal side effects and hope this drug will be effective and stop progression.
