Just got the call...my sister is doing well. She came home from the hospital yesterday, no nausea after the procedure. Both sides sentinel nodes removed, she will learn in a week what the path is from that...but she said that the surgeon said there were 'no surprises' during either procedure.

SO, thank you, my semicolons...your prayers were obviously heard!!! WHEW!!!

Hopefully, it will only be radiation and then she's on to 5 years of hormone treatment...

I'm dancing right now!!!!

Dutch hugs, Kathi

    very nice to hear:)

Sorry she has to radiate - but I understand how necessary that can be...

Sounds like things will be on the upswing now...

The first cancer, anal, she had to rad and chemo....
    She doesn't need more chemicals...

For me, I had chemo and rads both cancers....and I'm a tougher old broad than she is....

I hope that's it, although we are both getting HNPCC genetic testing done...her BRCA1/2 came back negative. I have never had any genetic testing done, but now I worry about my surviving daughter...so I will do it...I'm already red-lined for health insurance...so, what the heck? I checked with my insurance broker, he says they can't and won't cancel me for a positive test result...we shall see...
