mom is finally at peace. She lasted 11 days without water and 13 days without food. She struggled and was in unbearable pain for the last two weeks but in the end she died very peacefully. We had her funeral on Wednesday and the services were beautiful. This week has been just a fog for me. I know she is gone, I was there when she passed but it still feels as though Im in a bad dream. I wonder if my life will ever be the same. . .

Hugs to you
Iowa,
Let me start by saying hugs to you because at this moment there is no words that can heal your pain right now. I know you're hurting so much and that there is a void in your life and just wanted to let you know that you are not alone and we are here for you, hugs and prayers to help you get through this difficult time in you life0 -
Sorry
I am so sorry for your loss. I'm sure that is a phrase that you are really tired of now, but I hope you can take comfort from the fact that people care. There are no words that help, so we tend to say the only thing we can think of. Yes, you are in the fog of grief now. It helps us cope. No, life will never be the same. You will always miss your mom. Eventually, you will learn to live with this. Life does go on. In fact, right now you are probably wondering how others can just go on with their lives when you are hurting so much. Take your time. Grief really is a process. Deal with it in your own way and time. Hugs, Fay0 -
My prayers are with youBarbara53 said:so sorry for your loss
I am so sorry for your loss, and pray for strength in the coming days. My mother is expected to leave this life in the next few days. At this point we have reasonable comfort and peace. I wish the same for you.
and I am sorry for your loss right now. Thinking about you. Take one day at a time.0
