I had myself prepared to have my ca125 number go up or stay the same from researching this drug combo. I had read a lot of posts where it took two or more treatments before the number would start to drop. So it was a pleasant surprise to find out my number dropped to 7, it was only 34 but I am very excited to get such a good response. Also my blood count are good so it is just the encouragement I think I needed.
Just had to share my good news and I hope everyone has good chemo results and scans!

    great news!!!!!!!!!!! My count went up a bit but Dr Baker said it was due to my bronchitis so I will not worry....to much........val

    When I read your post I was smilling with you, we all love when low numbers come in and we are rejoicing with you. It's nice when you don't have to worry as much injoy your NED and I pray you stay there.

    On the same cocktail
    Hi Coleen -I am on the same cocktail - just finished my 3rd cycle of 6 but will be on the avastin for an addtional 10 months - CA-125 was 36 when i had laproscopic surgery for 1st recurrance in Nov. down to 16 after 1st cycle, then 19 after 3rd cycle - feeling OK jsut very tired - hanging in there and keeping you in my prayers too -
