Just got back from the first scope since treatment ended on 10-19-11 and dr said it looks good no mass on the tonsil, still inflamed though
He scheduled a ct scan and said he will compare that from the first one and if all looks well he will see him in 4 months.
I tried to say in not so many words are we ok and the dr said he had a good response and that we could relax. (guess it was written ll over my face)
He said drs are Leary about saucing alls fine (I guess like lawyers) lol.
Cat-scan is Tom at 9am and hopefully results before the weekend so we could breath
I feel somewhat relieved and can't what for the other half of the puzzle Tom. With results of course
Am I ok to be smiling a little after a "good" scope?
Thanks
Michelle

    Inflamation/Residual
The above are both very common for quite awhile...severa lmonths or longer.

The rest sounds like a good report to me....congrats.

You can usually ask for a desk copy and they'll have a copy of the results for you the next day...or at least at my facility.

    Good Luck tomorrow....

    Just fine smiling
after first scan Michelle. I think that is the hardest thing to learn post treatment. We can only do one scan at a time and smiling, jumping, or just plain lunacy is required. Good job!

    Good scope
If you cannot smile after good scope, then when can you smile? :)

    Dawn,
I have to say your comment did make me smile too cause it is true. I'm just soo afraid to smile at any part of this.
On another note, I have tried to put a picture in however the correct comes on my laptop but a totally different one comes on my iPad. Ever heard of this or was I way too tired when I tried it lol!

I get what you mean. Sometimes, I am afraid to celebrate for fear I will jinx myself.

Haven't seen that one happen with the picture, yet. Sometimes, it doesn't look like my picture changed, but. It did. Even when I sign completely out if the computer and sign back in, it won't change, but I will look on the iphon or the iPad, and it will be changed on that. Never had a totally wrong picture though. Maybe try putting only the picture you want to upload into a separate file, and then uploading it? Other than that I'm out of ideas.
