Throid cancer and dental x rays?

My mom randomly asked me if I thought my thyroid cancer could be linked to dental x rays, and I looked it up - some conflicting info online, but some does support a link. Has anyone heard about this? I have had many dental x rays due to routine checkups/changing dentists and having braces multiple times. Any other cancers linked to this?

    I have heard this too
    Now they are using X-Ray gowns that cover your neck. I don't know how much it helps but I guess it's better than nothing. I also had a lot of dental X-Ray's as a kid and I had braces.
