Neuropathy
I have neuropathy in feet from taxol. I take neurotin, 300 mg. 3X a day, b6 every day and alpha lipoic acid, 200 mg. 3X a day. It does not get rid of it but it helps alot. Ask your doctor about neurotin. It can make some people drowsy but I don't have any problem with it.

I feel so great in the waterDebbyB said:I started going to water
I started going to water aerobics and WOW does it help. I can get the movement I need to heal and I can do it without putting my full weight on my feet.
too! I took a whole day yesterday to play at the pool and sit in the "onsen" (hot springs tub) with my daughter. What a difference in my feet at the end of the day! I wish I could go every day.
I use lyrica (used primarily with diabetic patients with neuropathy) on days I really need to get something done and have to push myself. It numbs the discomfort/pain and my feet lighten up, as opposed to feeling like cement. I choose not to use it every day, because of side effects) but all I can say is, "WOW!", for the days I use it and am so productive.
I haven't found that B6 or any of the other things I have tried makes any difference in healing the neuropathy. What I need is a year off from chemo.

It is encouraging to see the community suggesting a range of supportive measures like Alpha Lipoic Acid and B-12, as your experience with Taxol-induced neuropathy highlights the importance of targeted nerve support. For those seeking additional options to manage these symptoms alongside their current regimen, I found the NerveFresh resource helpful in identifying complementary strategies: https://secure.nervefresh24.com/index-nf-ds#aff=richievalone51cbb5.
