My FATHER IN LAW WAS JUST DIAGONOSED WITH STAGE 4 LIVER CANCER. HE WAS JUST FINE ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND IT IS ALREADY STAGE 4 WHICH I UNDERSTAND WITH STAGE 4 IT HAS SPREAD TO OTHER PARTS OF THE BODY. HE LOOKS VERY SICK LIKE HE IS GOING TO DIE RIGHT NOW. WITH THE CANCER BEING AT THIS STAGE IS THERE ANY TREATMENT THAT CAN HELP? HE IS GOING TO SEE A LUNG DOCTOR AND HEART DOCTOR BUT I WAS JUST CURIOUS IF THERE WAS ANY HOPE THAT HE COULD LIVE A LITTLE LONGER?

hello
Not sure where you are located but my dad was diagonsed with Liver Cancer. We went and saw Dr Kenneth Kenji Tanabe, MD
Chief, Division of Surgical Oncology
Deputy Clinical Director, MGH Cancer Center
Director, MGH Liver Surgery Program
Phone: 617-724-3868
MGH stands for Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and Dr Tanabe has been wonderful and successfully removed his tumor. This is going to be his 5th year survival.
Don't give up hope ....
