The Cancer Survivors Network (CSN) is a peer support community for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, families, and friends! CSN is a safe place to connect with others who share your interests and experiences.
Thank you for being a part of the Cancer Survivor Network community. Survivors and caregivers like you have played a unique role in fostering an online environment that encourages connection among those needing support, community, and education. On May 28, the Network will be discontinued. More details are available here . If you have any questions, contact CSNSupportTeam@cancer.org. Thanks again for the support you’ve provided each other over the years. We remain committed to supporting you in other ways throughout your cancer journey.

There were questions asked on who has to pay?
If you live in a community property state you are responsible for a deceased spouse debts and medical bills.
If you don't..his/her money goes to the survivor depending on how the will is written. You are not responsible for their debts or medical bills UNLESS you signed as a guaranter for twhat the insurance doesn't pay.
I remember when Tom first started out here in our town..they were insistent that I sign and I refused. Told them no, I wouldn't be responsible for anything the insurance didn't cover. I heard well you are his wife. My comment was no I won't sign, the law doesn't require me to do so.
Indiana is not a community property state so I would not be responsible.
Don't sign papers unless you know what you are signing. Even when I had my knee surgeries, I didn't have my husband sign anything...
They can slip those papers in and might not know what you're signing.
