Getting my CT Scan today -- and then the wait.

in Colorectal Cancer #1
I hate waiting for the results on these CT Scans. You never know if it will be good news or life changing bad news. Well the CEA is 1.9 and so far I've been free and clear since the operation in May, 2009 and being staged at 2A. Hope everyone has a great New Year and remember to take it a day at a time.

    Waiting is so hard! CEA sounds good....Will be thinking of you. Yea, one day at a time! All the best for 2012

    The scan itself is the easy part, it's the waiting that is so taxing on someone. Good luck on the results. Glad things are going well so far.

    The news is good
    Got the results today and there is no sign of cancer and so I'm happy, and so is my doctor. Have a Happy New Years everyone and remember to take it a day at a time.

    ThAt is wonderful news!! I am stage 2a rectal cancer and I have my annual in January!! I am so nervous. Last year when I had my scan after finishing chemo there was a nodule on my thyroid which turned out to be papillary thyroid cancer stage 1. I guess I should be happy they caught it early I just hope and pray they don't find anything this time!!
