I FINALLY got my hardwood
I FINALLY got my hardwood floors all in and my house put back together! My computer was down for the renovation, and typing on my iPad is a PITA. Then we changed ISPs and had no internet for 3 days. But now, all is well. If you are on my Facebook friends list, I posted some pictures of my lovely new bedroom and office floors. It took so long because my youngest son did them (and did a beautiful job) but he is not a floor guy by profession. He's a structural designer, and he's a single dad who only gets to see his kids every other weekend, so I didn't want to impose on that.
I head back to NYC on Jan 3rd. I'm still NED, still in the trial at MSKCC.
I admit that losing Linda was a kick in the gut, and then Nancy M's recurrence, after 4 years of NED, was just the straw that broke the camel's back. Talk about depression!
But then I got a message from Leesa, and her CA125 is a TEN! One zero.....as compared to ten THOUSAND when she was diagnosed. That cheered me up.
Hope everyone had a blessed holiday!

I had forgotten about the huge project you had going on. Glad to hear it's finished. Where can I see those photos?
I'm so happy to see that you're still NED! And Leesa's numbers are outstanding! I should be getting my CA125 in about a week or so then off to the doc in the middle of the month. Here's hoping I'm still NED as well.
Happy New Year!

The photos are on Facebook! Look me up.....just search for "Carlene Mull...". I'm not allowed to post my whole name on the board, but I can send it via CSN message if you can't find me.
