I waited until this morning to open my package. I absolutely LOVE everything. I received 3 ornaments. They represent New Orleans Beignets (a puffed doughnut), a powdered sugar shaker, and a cup of Cafe au lait. Plus I received an actual package of Beignet mix and New Orleans coffee to make my own!!!
There's more. She made me my own Operation Warm Fuzzies blanket. LOVE IT! It feels so good.
Plus she included a Mickey Mouse stocking and ornament for Isabella. If you remember, CC was a huge help to me when Isabella was born 7 weeks premature, and we have adopted "Aunt Eileen" into our family.
I have posted pictures on my expressions page for all to see.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I absolutely love my package. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Love,
Jean

I am so glad you enjoyedJean 0609 said:One question CC
I recognize the emblem from The Saints. Does the emblem represent New Orleans and the Saints use it?
I am so glad you enjoyed everything! It was so much fun shopping for you and Isabella. :-)
The fleur de lis emblem is a very old symbol meaning lily flower and originally associated with the French monarchy. The Saints did "steal" the emblem, as it is also Louisana's official symbol (whatever that means). The emblem also has been a symbol of rebirth, stength and courage since Katrina, so I think it is very appropriate for a survivor!0
