Cytoxin

I was wondering if anyone has been on Cytoxin? My last ca-125 jumped from 146 to 2000 before starting avastin every three weeks and taking a daily cytoxin pill. I had a biopsy on my liver to make sure recurrence was not breast cancer related (had a lumpectomy in 2008). The last appointment I had last week revealed it is still ovarian related and ca-125 jumped to 3000. The cytoxin is a daily chemo pill and have had no side effects except I get tired right after taking it. If any what are your feelings about the cytoxin pill?

Cytoxin used to be the first
Cytoxin used to be the first line chemo for OVCA. That was before something more effective came along. I don't know your history with the other chemo treatments.
I know others here have been treated with the Avastin/Cytoxin combo. I think you have to drink a lot of water to prevent bladder complications.

I take the cytoxin around 1:00 in the afternoon with lunch and it does make me tired. When first dianosed with stage 3c and had a hysterectomy, I had cisplatin/taxol/taxatere. The second round was carbo/taxol and now I am on avastin/cytoxin, which I drink a lot of water and make several trips to the bathroom!
Hope you had a Merry Christmas!
