I have lymphoma stage 4 non-Hodgkin cancer and have completed 6 rounds of chemo and currently are on every other month of Retoxin therapy. My problem is that I have to urinate every hour 24 hours a day - is this normal - is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Yes..
I have Follicular NHL and since finishing my chemo(6 rounds CVP-R) a year ago this month, I urinate at least once every hour. I can go 3 or 4 hours at night without having to get up, but not any longer than that. I drink alot of water,(day and night), so I'm sure that adds to the frequency of having to go. I told my doctor about it and he didn't seem to think it was anything to worry about. I feel good and I don't have any pain associated with frequent urination, so I guess it's just part of the "new normal" that comes with having cancer and treatments. I'm also doing the Rituxan maint every other month and just finished my first year of maint, with one more year to go. Maybe others can chime in and say if they have frequent urination issues. Sue

Oh,Yea
I know when I was getting my infusions I had to go like a race horse before I was done. That was a lot of liquids being taken in. It was like that for a couple of days afterwards as well. Now even weeks later I notice I have to go more aften than before all this mess. The problem is when I have to go I have to go now and find it rough to wait. All these chemicals probably weakened the bladder muscles is all I can figure. It is worse in the morning hours up until noon or so. Then it gets better and I can go a couple or three hours without having to go. I do notice I have to get up at least once at night. John(FNHL-4A-1-5/10)0
