We need some really good news today!

This has been such a hard week for so many of our "pink sisters and brothers" that I was hoping to see some positive news....

Maybe we can create some by each of us posting a blessing in our lives. Big or small, just to give us more hope and spirit!

I will start with a new dog in the family! My son and I took my ex (my boys father to the humane society rescue facility), just to look of course. He bonded in about 2 seconds with a half Chihuahua and half something else. This was someone who was just pacifying his sons who insisted he didn't need or want a dog. I have gotten 5 phone calls in less than 24 hours telling me how smart he is, his new name, he slept all night cuddled up next to him, has not barked once, and he is 100% house broken.

He has not been this happy in years and the dog is adorable and now in a good home! This dog is a blessing for our whole family!

    What..
A lovely sentiment, Carol.... I'll add my blessings...I have a fantastic husband, two grown, married "kids". 4 grandchildren which are the light of our lives, bountiful food on our table, a comfortable home, health insurance, and love in my heart....I am a blessed woman in spite of my health...

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my "pink sisters", whom I am blessed to have in my life...

May the New Year be kind to you...
    Hugs, Nancy

I had my 6-month oncologist appt yesterday....
And she bumped the next one to a year...

"If I didn't know this 4-inch-thick chart belonged to you, I would never guess!" she said...

My labs are all good, even my cholesterol. This is a first...usually Something is off...

So, after 2 primary site cancers, and 7 years, I am being released onto the world...even my Tamoxifen is finished!!! That's big, considering back 7 years, I was told to 'get my affairs in order' and the estimate was that I had about 6 months to live...

(I know it's good news to me, but is it good enough to qualify for you all?)

    Good idea
    My good news
I called to my breast surgeon to schedule a regular 6-month check up January. I was told me that she is going to see me in June, once a year now.

My husband got into a car accident . While the car needs repair, hubby is doing well, no any health issues

    So Beautiful
What a great idea. Andie and I had an invitation to go to the Cathedral of St John the Divine in NYC - one of my favorite places in the world - to the annual Paul Winter winter solstice concert. It was an amazing experience.

We will have Christmas Eve at my daughter's and Christmas Day at my son's. I got to take my three granddaughters shopping for their parents and then my three grandsons went with me this past Wednesday. The boys did notice I wasn't as energetic as usual but they seemed to be happy to be with me. I am truly blessed this Christmas. This last chemo treatment kicked me a bit. Two more and I think I'm done. Then surgery. But not today - today it's all good. Merry Christmas and Happy Hannakuh to everyone!
