    Drink lots and lots of
Drink lots and lots of water....call with every side effect, the docs/nurses have a way to deal with everything...eat small amounts frequently...drink lots of water...have immodium AD on hand...lotion for dry skin...tingling scalp means the hair is about to fall out...drink lots of water...know when it's appropriate to go to the ER, and when it should just be a phone call...know who to call after hours...drink lots of water.

    Get work done
Get the majority of work done on the better feeling days, so you can lay low on the difficult days. Yes excercise helps beat the nausea, but make it mild exercise like walking.

    water
drink water, more water and then more water. Take nausea medicine, even if you don't feel sick....it can sneak up on you. Take a chemo bag to treatments....filled with snacks, books, blanket, socks, etc..... A lot of centers have wi-fi for laptops.

Some types of chemo cause mouth sores, chew on ice during treatment. I also seem to remember something about sucking on hard candy. I must really have chemo brain, seems I have forgotten so many of the tips I received from everyone when I started it August.

    Tips
Biotin for dry mouth, extra soft toothbrush, no toothpicks or dental floss, baby shampoo for scalp, call onc if temp rises above 99.9, lotion for dry skin, get lots of rest. This is all I can think of other than what has already been posted.

    We just finished our 7th
We just finished our 7th round of chemo...with 17 more to go. Rinsing twice a day with a teaspoon of dissolved baking soda in warm water for the mouth sores. Drinking water, grape juice, more water. Trying to limit intake of coffee and coke - anything with caffeine. Definitely stay on a schedule with the nausea meds.

    Passing on our prayers.
