Don's Failing

in Esophageal Cancer #1
Don is failing very fast. They tell me it will probably be before the weekend. We are keeping him as pain free as we can. Hospice people are awesome. Lots of family are with me. Even his 97 year old mother. This is really hard for her. Keep us in your prayers.

    May the Peace of God be with you. So glad you have family to surround you - you need them and Don needs them. I do not know how difficult this time must be for you, but please know that I am praying for each of you.

    We have only traveled this path with you a short time as we are new to this. My Don has not started treatment yet, but I know that your Don has in some way contributed to the treatment my Don will soon receive and we thank you and Don for that.

    Although we never know what God has in store for us or what His timetable will be, we will hold on to you for all it's worth for strength and the right things.
