Anyone have symptoms with mets to the lungs ?

I just had CT scan in Oct showing growth again in lungs ( not long after 6 months of Cisplatin/Doxirubucin). PET/CT combined in Nov. showed more growth but not real high SUV rate, so onc does not categorize as aggressive. We are trying tamoxifen for 90 days and then will probably repeat Carboplatin/taxol after first of year.
My question is that with next scan scheduled for mid to late February, how would I know if it started growing faster ? (2nd recurrence the SUV rate went from 5-6 to 16 in 6 weeks).
With this being cold season, etc I don't want to panic with any cough, etc. and thought I would get my feedback on whether anyone here with mets to lung have had symptoms ?
