Reba,
My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and Don during these difficult days. I know no words can help make this easier but know there are many here who are praying for you and Don and we will be here to support you through everything that will happen.
As Sherri said whisper those special words to Don, sit with him and give him permission to go. That was the hardest thing for me with my Dad, but I know that it brought him some peace to know that we would all be okay and that we would take care of mom once he was gone. And he knew how much we loved him and how much he loved us. Don knows all those things as well and you both have been blessed with much love and happiness. Take care of yourself too - don't forget that.
Prayers and hugs,

Thinking of You and Sending Hugs
Dearest Reba
Please know that you and your husband are in all of our prayers and thoughts. I will pray today that if it is in God's will...that he please take him home. You are a wonderful caregiver. You have done an excellent job. Continue to give your husband the peace he needs to move onto his next journey. Keep in touch. We are thinking of you.

My Prayers are with yourmitchell said:Don
Don is 78. He had EC surgery last Dec after 6 Chemo and 28 Radiation treatments. They said he was Cancer Free then. In August he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bone Cancer. The same kind as the EC. They gave him 6 to 8 months to live. He is going down hill fast and it seems the end is near. I don't know if he will last through Christmas or not. It is in God's hands. I don't understand why this terrible Cancer has to claim so many lives. Thanks so much for all your prayers. I will keep you in mine as well.
I pray that Dons end will be swift and not agnozing which is what Ias a stage 4 pray for everyday. Throughout my mom dad and sisters cancer deaths I remember them just wanting to be reassured everything is OK time to go peacefully we will remember you and all the good times we had together .Undescribable how to live without your soulmate be it wife husband father mother sisiter brother child or friend. But somehow those destined to continue to live do get through it allthough doesnt seem like it at the time.Hope you have a strong support system you deserve it.Keep on posting helps others get through thier grief as well and to know the caretakers of the world will be cared for too.Take care of YOU Best wishes Meg Mac0 -
