I finished my 6 rounds of carbo/taxol/avaistan in late October. CA-125 was 9 in early November. I have CT's today, petscan on Thursday. See the dr. on Nov. 14. Wish I would learn to relax and stop "borrowing trouble." I began my 2 yr. every 2 weeks avaistan maintenance last Wed. Does dealing with this get any easier? ever? Thanks ladies!

I get really nervous also.
I get really nervous also. Last month I had a scan and after it was done as I walked out to my car I just bursted into tears because of the shear fact that in any phone call or appointment that I have they could say the cancer is back. It is so scary because we just don't have any control over it. I hope your doing well.

still get nerves
I think we all still get nerves when it come time for the scans no matter how many years you have been in remission. I am also on avastin maintance do you have the joint pain with it I am having a hell of a time with it. I almost can't walk because the pain is in my knees so each step hurts and getting up to stand is almost imposible. I use a walker now and I hate it I am only 46 and I walk like I am over 100. Let me know if you have the same problems.

you're not alone
Every time I go for a scan I get really nervous too. It's been 3 years, I'm 18 now, and I don't think the anxiety will ever go away because of the fact the we don't know what the future will hold. What helps me sometimes is to only focus on the present, and that no matter what happens, no matter how bad it can get, we have so much to be thankful for as well. I had my right ovary removed and I'm thankful for the other one being healthy, but I'm worried the cancer will come back to the other one too. We just have to hope for the best and try to relax as much as we can!
